St. George Counseling

Owner and Founder, Clinical Supervisor

Hi, I’m Connie, Welcome to All About You Therapy Services!

I am owner and founder of All About You Therapy Services. I am a licensed mental health counselor and the heart behind this practice.  My journey into the world of counseling began with a deep desire to help people feel seen, heard, and supported—especially during the moments when life feels most overwhelming. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside women, men, teenagers, and children from all walks of life as they navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, relationship struggles, and more. Whether you are reaching out for the first time or returning to therapy after some time away, my goal is to create a warm, judgment-free environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions.

My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy and guided by evidence-based approaches, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) which is helping people accept things they can’t change and moving towards their values. I also incorporate DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) which teaches Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance skills. I believe in exploring a person’s values and using strengths-based practices to help clients. More than anything, I believe in the power of human connection. I strive to meet each person where they are, honoring your unique story, culture, identity, and pace.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes—it’s about building a strong, collaborative relationship that supports lasting growth and healing. I originally started Connie Hanson Counseling and was in private practice for several years before deciding to expand my company. I realized that I would like to help more people and I couldn’t do it by myself. I love counseling and helping others. I love seeing hope come into people’s eyes as they realize they can make the changes they need to make. I don’t believe people are broken. I think they just need to be heard and learn skills to help them reach their full potential. At All About You Therapy Services, you are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms—you are a whole person, worthy of compassion, growth, and healing. I’m honored to be a part of your journey and look forward to walking with you, wherever you are starting from.

As a lifelong learner, I regularly attend workshops and trainings to stay current with the latest research and tools in the mental health field. My most meaningful lessons have always come from the people I work with—their courage, resilience, and willingness to show up, even when things are hard, continue to inspire me every day.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a big believer in self-care and the small joys of life. You can often find me going for nature walks, camping, reading, spending time with loved ones, and playing the piano. I especially love being by the ocean.

I bring that same emphasis on balance and well-being into my work with clients, encouraging them to care for themselves in ways that feel genuine and sustainable.
