Asha Stapley, CMHC-I
Hi, I’m Asha!
Embrace the “becoming journey”. Life often feels like a puzzle, sometimes with what seems to be broken or missing pieces. It’s challenging to try to sort out the past to build a peaceful and happy present. I am dedicated to helping others find meaning and purpose while they build their puzzles. I integrate a variety of counseling modalities to provide clients with the most relevant and evidence-based tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered therapy, Gestalt, Existential therapy, and more. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and life transitions.
Before entering this field, I worked in career counseling and life design, focusing on career exploration and development. I realized that I wanted to hold a larger space of healing and growth for others so I made the transition fully into mental health. I truly enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and believe in the innate strength and goodness of people. In my spare time, I love to connect with my loved ones, go hiking, travel for fun and for service, and enjoy the sunshine.
