Hi, I’m Megan!

I’m so happy you’re here! Starting therapy isn’t easy, but it can open the door to real change and growth.

I’m currently a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Utah Tech! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach  and a background in ABA therapy working with children with Autism. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents, their parents, couples and families. I believe that challenges don’t happen in isolation and that we can grow and change at any stage of life, so I take an approach that looks at the bigger picture. This helps clients better understand patterns and find meaningful ways to create change within their relationships and daily routines. My goal is to help families feel more connected, confident and equipped to navigate “problems” that may feel out of their control.

I use play therapy techniques with people of all ages to create more opportunities for expression. This can look like creative or play-based activities that help clients feel safe and understood, or bringing emotions to the surface in ways that feel more natural. I also use experiential activities to help clients see their challenges through a new lens.

When I’m not in class or in the therapy room, you can usually find me outdoors with my husband and our dog. I’m from California, so I’m always chasing sunshine! I love hiking, paddleboarding, or really anything that keeps my body moving. I look forward to working together to make sense of life’s challenges and move toward growth.
